About Ehviewer

Manga is not just a word; it is an emotion, and being a fan of Manga reading, I know how addictive it is. Since the Manga gained popularity, lots of Manga-reading apps have emerged in the market. The internet is flooded with plenty of Manga readers that include paid and open source sources. As an ardent lover of Manga, I did deep research and found Ehviewer. After giving it a try, I forgot all the subscription-based options, as it gives all the paid features for free.

One of my friends and I were reading Manga on Ehviewer for the last five years, and after being familiar with every aspect of this fantastic Manga Reader app, we decided to share our experience with the Manga lovers. As a result, we started Ehviewer.app. On Ehviewer.app, our topmost priority is to deliver accurate information about Ehviewer issues, deliver the latest download links, and provide up-to-date information about each update.

EhViewer History

Initially, Ehviewer app was founded by Hippo Seven in 2014. From 2014 to 2019, Hippo Seven maintained Ehviewer, and in 2020, NekoInverter joined him. Both worked hard on its design and delivered a modern Code repository with Material design support.

In 2022, Tarsin Norbin accompanied them and introduced Material Design 3 with a more polished color theme. Each developer delivered their expertise and made Ehviewer better with every update. In 2023, one more name, Foolbar, joined the project, and since then, Foolbar and Ehviewer Maintenance community have been looking after its development. Ehviewer Overhauled community is adding superior features with every update, like offline reading, advanced search, cross-platform support, ability to save reading progress, and many more.

The latest release, version 1.14.6, was published on December 17, 2025, and requires Android 8.0 or higher.
